PEMCO Mutual Insurance Company

PEMCO Mutual Insurance Company is headquartered in Seattle, WA. PEMCO offers personal lines, property and casualty insurance coverage throughout Washington State. They utilize both direct and indirect sales channels, and have earned a reputation for delivering on our promise to our customers.

At the end of PEMCO’s 2004 planning process, they realized they could no longer get by with using linked spreadsheets for planning. They began a search for a product that first had to be very user friendly for planners who do not have an accounting background, and secondly that would shorten the overall time the company devoted to planning.

Reason for PowerPlan Implementation

PEMCO chose PowerPlan for its best fit with both key desired outcomes. They implemented PowerPlan during the summer of 2004, with approximately 50 users. The positive feedback received from planners was the real validation of the PowerPlan decision. The list of users has since grown to more than 70, including remote office staff.

Software Access and Organization Presentation

PEMCO surpassed its first year goal for a 30% time savings, as they realized a 43% time savings for the 2005 planning process.
